Octenilin Wound Gel is used to moisturize and cleanse chronic wounds and burn wounds. Octenilin Wound Gel demonstrates excellent germ inactivation after just 1 minute of contact.

Usage:

First, rinse and clean the wound thoroughly (e.g., with Octenilin Wound Irrigation Solution) to remove easily detachable debris. Then treat the wound with Octenilin Wound Gel and cover it with appropriate wound dressings.
Octenilin Wound Gel can be left on the wound until the next dressing change. The frequency of dressing changes depends on the condition of the wound and the amount of exudate and should be adjusted to the specific wound situation; however, a dressing change should be performed no later than 3 days after application. When used in combination with oil-soaked gauze, the dressing should be changed daily and the wound cleaned. The application should be repeated until all debris can be removed and the wound appears clean.
