Octenilin Wound Irrigation Solution is used to moisten and cleanse chronic wounds. Due to its low surface tension, Octenilin Wound Irrigation Solution has excellent wetting properties and, consequently, superior cleansing performance, even on hard-to-reach surfaces such as rhagades, fissures, and within wound pockets.

Usage:

Each time the dressing is changed, thoroughly rinse and clean the wound with Octenilin Wound Irrigation Solution (Octenilin Wound Irrigation Solution may be warmed to body temperature immediately before use). This will remove any easily detachable wound exudate. To dissolve fibrin deposits, dressings or wound pads soaked in Octenilin Wound Irrigation Solution can also be used. The product can be warmed to body temperature (e.g., in a water bath). Rinsing afterward is generally not necessary. If necessary, the wound can be further treated with Octenilin Wound Gel.
