Care Instructions

SHOWER
Tap water and soap will not damage the jewelry. However, the necklace should not come into contact with harsh chemicals, as this can damage the jewelry. 

OCEANS
It’s perfectly fine to wear onona jewelry in the ocean. However, it’s important to know that saltwater and the ocean are corrosive. This means that while the jewelry won’t tarnish or turn your skin green, the gold plating can fade and become lighter much more quickly in this environment, revealing the silver underneath.

POOL
We do not recommend swimming in a pool while wearing onona jewelry, as it will come into contact with water containing chemicals such as chlorine, which react more strongly with the jewelry than fresh water and soap.
