The dried and precooked carrot flakes from PAWS&PATCH are an ideal supplement to homemade food, BARF diets, or bland diets. The carrot flakes can also be used as an addition to dry or wet food. Gently steam-cooked, they are a gluten-free vegetable supplement that dogs readily accept.

Feeding recommendation:

Soak the carrot flakes in hot water for approximately 10 minutes. Use a water-to-flakes ratio of 2:1. After they have swollen, allow the carrot flakes to cool and add them to the rest of the food. If needed, the flakes can be puréed for better digestibility. 1 tbsp corresponds to approximately 5 g of carrot flakes. 5 g of dried flakes corresponds to approximately 30 g of soaked flakes.

FEEDING RECOMMENDATION FOR DOGS

The total daily ration depends on the dog's weight and activity level: a total of 20‒40 g of food (meat and vegetables) per kg of body weight per day

• Puppies: approx. 80% meat and 20% vegetables (soaked)
• Adult dogs: approx. 65% meat and 35% vegetables (soaked)
• Senior dogs: approx. 50% meat and 50% vegetables (soaked)
