The dried and pre-cooked beetroot strips from PAWS&PATCH are an ideal accompaniment to homemade food, BARF rations, or bland diets. The beetroot strips can also be added to dry or wet food. Gently steam-cooked, the beetroot strips are easy to digest and highly palatable for dogs.

Feeding recommendation:

Soak the beetroot strips in hot water for approximately 20 minutes. Water-to-strip ratio: 2:1. Once rehydrated, allow the beetroot strips to cool and add them to the remaining food. If needed, the strips can be puréed for improved digestibility. 1 tbsp corresponds to approximately 5 g of beetroot strips. 5 g of dried strips corresponds to approximately 30 g of rehydrated strips.

FEEDING RECOMMENDATION FOR DOGS

The total daily ration depends on the dog's weight and activity: 20‒40 g of food (meat and vegetables) per kg of body weight per day

• Puppies: approx. 80% meat and 20% vegetables (rehydrated)
• Adult dogs: approx. 65% meat and 35% vegetables (rehydrated)
• Senior dogs: approx. 50% meat and 50% vegetables (rehydrated)
