HIV 1/2 SELF-TEST can be performed by anyone who has been or thinks they have been exposed to the virus, people with symptoms suggestive of HIV infection, or anyone who wants to detect a possible infection. The most common symptoms that can be attributed to HIV infection include: Fever, rash, sore throat rzen and/or oral candidiasis, swollen glands, headache rzen, joint and/or muscle pain rzen.
Application:
- Take a blood pr obe using the sterile lancet supplied with tg.
- Collect the pr obe marked by the weak rze line using the capillary pipette supplied with tg.
- Pour the collected pr obe into the previously opened dropper bottle with the buffer and screw it tight again.
- Add 3 drops of the liquid obtained in this way to the well (S) indicated on the cassette and wait 10 minutes to read the result.
Interpretation of the results:
- Negative: No anti-HIV1 and HIV2 antibodies were detected in the pr obe or their concentration is below the limit value. If you doubt that you have been exposed to the virus in the last 3 months, it is possible that the antibodies have not yet been produced by the body. In this Fall it is recommended to repeat the test 3 months after a possible exposure.
- Positive: Anti-HIV antibodies have been detected in the pr obe and therefore a possible seropositive state. It is necessary to test with a rzt.
