Pro-ophta Buy white sterile eye swabs (20x20 pcs)

Specially developed for ophthalmic surgery, the Pro-ophta swabs impress as surgical swabs with their good capillary action and high suction speed. Without sacrificing the necessary firmness, the swabs have high absorbency. Pro-ophta Rods are cut at an angle at the ends. Their material makes them gentle on tissue: they are made of non-woven viscose fabric and have an absorbent cellulose coating. The use of Pro-ophta rods has proven particularly effective in eyelid surgery (entropion and ectropion) and in eye muscle surgery for strabismus.

Due to their properties, Pro-ophta rods are used successfully in microsurgery.
