These propolis drops are dissolved in alcohol at a concentration of 20%. The beneficial properties of propolis have been known for centuries. It has long been used successfully against inflammation, pain, and infectious pathogens. Propolis is a resinous substance that bees collect from the leaf buds of various deciduous and coniferous trees and mix with wax and glandular secretions. Propolis is rich in vitamins, minerals, and trace elements that are particularly important for the body. They support the body in various regeneration processes and in defending against harmful substances and bacteria. The immune system is stimulated, the body is strengthened and invigorated, and the cells are protected from free radicals.

Areas of application

The antibiotic, antibacterial, and antiviral effects of the natural remedy propolis are particularly helpful for inflammation. Propolis drops are therefore indicated for sore throats and earaches, as well as for inflammation of the stomach, intestines, and bladder. Propolis drops can also work wonders for gum inflammation, canker sores, and non-open skin inflammations. Bacteria and pathogens are destroyed and the healing process is supported. Be sure to dilute the drops generously, as the propolis tincture used for Propoli drops is extracted with alcohol.

Recommended use

Propolis drops are usually taken diluted because they are too strong in concentrated form. Propolis tincture can be diluted with water, herbal tea, or milk. Add 20–30 drops of propolis drops to a glass of liquid. Alternatively, the drops can be dripped onto a sugar cube, which may be more palatable, especially for children. For skin and mucous membrane conditions, external application is appropriate: dilute a few drops in a little water and dab the solution onto the affected area, for example. For insect bites, the undiluted form can be applied to the affected area.
