Tastes like a seaside holiday: Breton butter cookies. Our butter cookies are anything but ordinary, as they are refined with a pinch of Atlantic sea salt, known as fleur de sel, from Guérande on France’s west coast. This gives the golden-brown cookies, made with 23% butter, a balanced sweetness and a unique flavor found otherwise only on a holiday in Brittany. The cane sugar comes from fair trade, and most of the ingredients are sourced from France. The stackable cardboard packaging avoids individual wrappers and a sorting insert. After opening, the cookies should be stored in an airtight container. Incidentally, the imprint on the cookie is a Celtic symbol of the Breton duchy.
