The sprouting jar is perfect for beginners in sprout cultivation. Crisp, fresh sprouts any time of year—right from your windowsill. All types of seeds can be used in the sprouting jar, except for slime-forming varieties. (Please follow the instructions on the packaging.) The sprouting jar is easy to maintain and designed to provide optimal light and a favorable growing environment. The seeds can be soaked and sprouted in the same container. Fresh sprouts are delicious and versatile.

Usage

Rinse the sprouting jar with cold water and place it in a bright spot out of direct sunlight. Add the seeds to the jar, then fill the jar—with the strainer insert in place—several times with fresh cold water and immediately pour it out each time. Then fill the jar with cold water until the seeds are covered. Gently stir the seeds in the sprouting jar from time to time to loosen them up. Let the sprouting jar with the seeds and water soak for the specified time. To rinse (see instructions on the packaging), fill the jar—sealed with the strainer insert—with fresh water and pour it out immediately. Then place the jar with the strainer insert at a downward angle on a plate so that any remaining water can drain out. After harvesting, clean the sprouting jar with fruit vinegar and a soft brush or in the dishwasher (max. 65°C). Rinse with clean water and let it dry.
