And this creamy spread contains no added fats or sugar. (No added sugar. Contains naturally occurring sugars.) Liquid, spreadable, or solid? The oil in the coconut spread has a very low melting point. Therefore, the spread is spreadable at cool room temperature, firm in the refrigerator, and almost liquid at around 23°C. Depending on how you’re using it, you can easily adjust the consistency yourself! If the spread hardens again, the coconut oil may separate and form a white layer on top. Just stir it back in.
