Mauser Blue King Eggplant Seeds (0.5g)

Blue King eggplant is an especially early-maturing variety that is suitable for growing both in a polytunnel and outdoors in a sheltered location. It produces sturdy, semi-long fruits and impresses with its versatile culinary uses. It is particularly popular for classic dishes such as ratatouille and moussaka. Thanks to its early maturity, it enables an early harvest and produces aromatic eggplants from your own garden.

Sow from March to April in a propagation tray or seed tray. After raising the seedlings, prick out the strong seedlings into 8 cm pots and plant them outdoors from mid-May. A planting distance of 70 × 70 cm provides sufficient space for development. Eggplant requires a warm, sunny location and regular watering. A good supply of compost or vegetable fertilizer supports vigorous growth and abundant fruit set.
