This chili develops into an attractive shrub approximately 60 cm tall, with glossy red fruits around 10 cm long. The early-fruiting variety impresses with its characteristic heat level of 6–7 and is ideal for seasoning sauces, marinades, and numerous dishes. Its compact growth makes it versatile to cultivate and also offers a great opportunity to harvest your own hot chilies on a balcony. Sow from February to April in pots for protected cultivation, or from late April to mid-May for outdoor cultivation. Germination takes 8–14 days at 20–26°C.

From mid-May, the young plants can be planted in a sunny location with nutrient-rich soil. A spacing of 50x50 cm allows the plants to develop healthily. For a plentiful harvest, regular feeding with tomato fertilizer or compost is recommended. Thanks to its early fruit ripening, decorative appearance, and pleasant heat, this Cayenne chili is a versatile variety for gardens, patios, or balconies.
