Mauser Naga Bhut Jolokia Chili Seeds (6 seeds)

With around 1 million Scoville units, the “Naga Bhut Jolokia” chili is one of the hottest chili varieties in the world. The vigorous plant produces numerous fruits on an upright-growing stem and provides an impressive harvest for lovers of intense heat. The fruits are suitable for adding flavor to particularly spicy dishes, but should be used with great restraint due to their extreme heat. Sow in a tray indoors; a warm location is essential. Germination takes 8–14 days at 25–30°C.

Once the cotyledons have unfolded, transplant the young plants individually into 8 cm pots. From mid-May, the chili can be planted in a sheltered, sunny location with nutrient-rich soil. A spacing of 40x50cm supports healthy development. Once established, an application of complete fertilizer is recommended to promote growth and fruit production. It can also be grown under glass or in a polytunnel. Extreme caution is required when handling the seeds and fruits: contact with the face and eyes must be avoided.
