Frisée St. Laurent endive is a proven salad variety with large, heavy heads and finely frilled leaves. The dense, well-filled hearts are self-blanching and create an especially attractive appearance in the garden and on the plate. Thanks to its mild flavor and pleasant texture, this endive is ideal for a wide variety of salads and adds fresh, crisp greens to the kitchen.

Sow initially in trays or a hotbed; from June, it can be sown directly outdoors. For optimal development, a planting distance of 30 x 30 cm is recommended.
