Mauser Seeds Carrot Paris Market (5g)

Samen Mauser Paris Market Carrot (5g)

The Paris Market carrot, also known as Parisian Carrot, is a traditional, round carrot variety with a delicate flavour and compact growth habit. It is ideal for early cultivation in a tunnel or outdoors and, thanks to its small size, is also perfect for raised beds, planters and urban gardening. The small, aromatic roots are versatile and enhance both fresh salads and warm vegetable dishes.

Sow directly outdoors with a row spacing of 30cm. Water after sowing and cover the seeds with approximately 2cm of soil. Covering with fleece supports germination and promotes even plant development. Once the seedlings have emerged, thin the carrots to a spacing of 2cm. For vigorous growth, incorporating a complete fertiliser after sowing and thinning is recommended. Intercropping with onions or leeks can also help reduce damage caused by carrot fly.
