Mauser Seeds Carrot Pfälzer (5g)

Mauser Pfälzer Carrot Seeds (5g)

Pfälzer is a large, long carrot variety with strong roots and high yield. It develops its best qualities particularly in light, humus-rich soils and stands out for its robust growth and good quality. Thanks to its late maturity, this variety stores particularly well and is ideal for long-term supplies. The versatile carrots can be used in the kitchen or as a fodder crop.

Sow directly outdoors with a row spacing of 30cm. Water after sowing and cover the seeds with 1–2cm of soil. Covering with fleece supports germination and promotes reliable plant development. For carrots intended for storage, sowing in the first half of May is recommended. After emergence, thin the seedlings to a spacing of 2cm. Incorporating a complete fertiliser after sowing and thinning supports vigorous growth.
