Mauser Seeds Carrot Tip-Top (5g)

Mauser Tip-Top Carrot Seeds (5g)

Tip-Top is a robust, high-yielding carrot variety that is also suitable for less-than-ideal locations. It reliably develops strong roots and stands out for its excellent adaptability to different growing conditions. Thanks to its outstanding storage life, the harvest stays fresh for a long time and can be used in a variety of ways in the kitchen—from crisp raw dishes to hot meals.

Sow directly outdoors with a row spacing of 30cm. After sowing, water thoroughly and cover the seeds with about 2cm of soil. Covering with fleece supports germination and protects the young plants. Once the seedlings have emerged, thin the carrots to a spacing of 2cm. For optimal development, incorporating a complete fertilizer after sowing and thinning is recommended. Mixed cultivation with onions or leeks can also help reduce damage caused by carrot flies.
