Description
Mauser Kohlrabi Kora Seeds (0.25g)
Kora kohlrabi produces especially tender bulbs that retain their fine, buttery texture even when they reach a larger diameter. The variety is suitable for both summer and autumn harvests and also stores well. Its mild flavor makes it versatile in the kitchen, and it is ideal for salads, vegetable dishes, soups, or as a crunchy raw snack.
Sow in seed trays or a hotbed; from May, direct sowing outdoors is also possible. Plant out strong seedlings from mid-May at a spacing of 30x30cm. For optimal development, incorporate vegetable fertilizer before planting and again after the plants have established. Early sowings can first be transplanted into 8cm pots before being planted out.
- Buttery-tender bulbs even at a larger diameter
- Suitable for summer and autumn harvests and good storage
- Versatile for hot and cold dishes
