Mauser Baby Bear Pumpkin Seeds (10 seeds)

The “Baby Bear” winter squash is a compact variety with round, orange fruits weighing approximately 1 kg. Thanks to its convenient size, it is particularly well suited to small households and can be used in a variety of ways in the kitchen. The decorative fruits also store well and enhance the garden visually. Sow directly outdoors from mid-May or start earlier in pots. Sow 2 seeds per pot or planting site at a depth of approximately 3 cm. Germination takes 7–10 days at 15–25°C.

The heat-loving “Baby Bear” pumpkin prefers a sunny, warm location outdoors. From mid-May, plant the seedlings 1 × 2 m apart. After germination, leave only the strongest plant per pot or planting site. This variety has high nutrient and water requirements and develops particularly well on compost heaps. Ripe pumpkins can be stored at approximately 15–18°C for 3–4 months, keeping the aromatic fruits available for a long time.
