Mauser Seeds Pumpkin Etampes (5g)

Mauser Etampes Pumpkin Seeds (5g)

The "Etampes" pumpkin is an impressive old variety with flat-round, orange fruits weighing 6-15kg. The richly coloured flesh is highly versatile in the kitchen, while the large fruits are also impressive as decorative elements in the garden or home. The mature pumpkins can be stored for several months and kept at approximately 15-18°C for 3-4 months. Sow directly outdoors from mid-May or start earlier in pots. Sow 2 seeds per pot or planting spot at a depth of approximately 3cm. Germination takes 7-10 days at 15-25°C.

The trailing "Etampes" pumpkin prefers a sunny, warm location outdoors and requires sufficient space for its vigorous growth. From mid-May, plant the seedlings 1x2m apart. After germination, leave only the strongest plant per pot or planting spot. The variety has high nutrient and water requirements and thrives particularly well on compost heaps. With its large fruits, attractive growth habit and good storage life, "Etampes" is a versatile addition to any vegetable garden.
