Mauser Petersilie Napoli-Riese Seeds (5g)

‘Napoli-Riese’ parsley is a vigorous-growing variety with dark green, smooth leaves and a particularly aromatic flavour. This large-leaved parsley is ideal for seasoning and refining a wide variety of dishes such as soups, sauces, salads, and meat and vegetable dishes. As a biennial variety, it produces fresh herbs over an extended period and is a valuable addition to any herb garden. Sow from March to August in pots, or directly outdoors from April. Sow the seeds approximately 1 cm deep. Germination takes 10–28 days at 15–22°C and is supported by consistent moisture and a shady location during this period.

‘Napoli-Riese’ parsley can be cultivated in pots, greenhouses, or outdoors and requires a row spacing of 30 cm for optimal development. For healthy plant growth, suitable crop rotation should be observed: after carrots, parsley, fennel, or celery, wait at least four years before growing it in the same location again. With its vigorous growth and smooth, aromatic leaves, this variety is particularly versatile.
