Samen Mauser Blauhilde Pole Bean (60g)
Blauhilde pole bean is a proven old variety with striking, long, dark purple beans with round pods. The thick-fleshed pods impress with their distinctive appearance and change color to classic green when cooked. The robust plants produce high yields, making Blauhilde an attractive choice for the home garden.
Sow directly outdoors from mid-May to early June. For successful germination, the soil temperature should be at least 15°C; under optimal conditions, the seeds germinate within 8–10 days. Incorporating a little vegetable fertilizer before sowing and before earthing up is recommended. With approximately 80 cm between poles and 7–10 seeds per pole, the variety reliably develops into strong plants.
