Hilda pole bean, also known as the coco bean, produces long, broad, and flat pods. The fleshy, stringless beans are distinguished by their especially good flavor and are excellent for a wide range of bean dishes. This variety is ideal for garden enthusiasts who value aromatic beans with a pleasant texture and easy preparation.

Sow directly outdoors from mid-May to June. For successful germination, the soil temperature should be at least 15°C; under optimal conditions, the seeds germinate within 8–10 days. Incorporating a little vegetable fertilizer before sowing and before earthing up is recommended. With a spacing of approximately 80 cm between poles and 7–10 seeds per pole, this variety reliably develops into vigorous plants.
