Samen Mauser Pole Bean Prizewinner (60g)
The Prizewinner pole bean is a versatile runner bean that performs well both in the garden and in the kitchen. Its decorative flowers and attractive foliage make this variety a special addition to the garden. At the same time, the beans can be used in many ways and are ideal for preparing salads, soups, and other dishes.
Sow directly outdoors from mid-May to early June. For successful germination, the soil temperature should be at least 15°C; under optimal conditions, the seeds germinate within 8–10 days. Earthing up the plants is recommended after 2–3 weeks. Applying a little vegetable fertilizer before sowing and earthing up supports healthy growth. With a spacing of approximately 100 cm between poles and 7–12 seeds per pole, this variety develops reliably.
