Germination takes 6–10 days at 20–28°C.

The warmth-loving "Kali F1" watermelon prefers a sheltered, warm location outdoors, in a hotbed, or in a tunnel. From mid-May, plant seedlings 50x50cm apart. Before planting, work some vegetable fertilizer into the soil to promote vigorous growth and good yields. Covering the soil with black plastic film leads to earlier yields and cleaner fruits. With its decorative appearance, aromatic flesh, and small seeds, this variety is ideal for the garden.
