Golden Bar zucchini delights with its golden-yellow, tender fruits, whose appealing color remains even after cooking. The vibrant color makes this variety a special addition to summer dishes and colorful ratatouille. The tender fruits are versatile and add variety to the kitchen in both flavor and appearance. Sow directly outdoors from mid-May or start them first in pots. Place 2 seeds about 3 cm deep per pot or sowing spot. Germination takes 7–10 days at 15–25°C.

The heat-loving Golden Bar zucchini prefers a sunny, warm location and can initially be started in a pot before being planted outdoors. From mid-May, plant out the strongest seedlings at a spacing of 80 x 100 cm. After germination, leave only the strongest plant per pot or sowing spot. This variety has high nutrient and water requirements and develops particularly well on compost heaps. The fruits taste especially tender when they reach a length of about 20 cm.
