Tasty Sweet sweet corn produces large cobs measuring over 20 cm in length, with an excellent and especially sweet flavor. This early-maturing variety develops tender, aromatic kernels and allows for an early harvest in your own garden. This makes it ideal for fresh consumption and a wide range of preparations. Sow from early April in pots or directly at the planting site, placing 2–3 seeds per pot or site. Plant the seeds 2–3 cm deep. Germination takes 7–10 days at 15–25°C; the soil temperature should not fall below 13°C, otherwise the seeds may rot.

For successful cultivation, transplant only the strongest potted plants, spacing them 18–20 cm apart within the row, with 70–80 cm between rows. Since sweet corn is pollinated by the wind, at least 4 rows should be grown next to one another to ensure good pollination of the cobs. Once the plants have developed, leave only the strongest plant at each planting site. With its large cobs and sweet flavor, Tasty Sweet is an attractive variety for the home garden.
