Application:

1. Determine the hair quality and select the required STRAIT THERAPY Straightening Cream
2. Wash the hair with BC Bonacure Cleansing Shampoo and towel-dry it. Do not massage the scalp.
3. Apply STRAIT THERAPY Protection Balancer to protect coloured and porous areas. Then gently pat the hair dry.
4. Wear suitable gloves. Divide the hair into four equal sections (T-section). Place the estimated amount of STRAIT THERAPY Straightening Cream in a clean plastic bowl. Starting at the nape, take sections 5cm (width) x 1cm and apply STRAIT THERAPY Straightening Cream with a clean tint brush. Do not apply to the first centimetre of the roots. Distribute the Straightening Cream evenly, carefully combing through each strand. Maximum application time: 20 minutes. 1 tube (300ml) of STRAIT THERAPY Straightening Cream is usually sufficient for one to two applications (depending on hair length).
5. 5. Cover the hair with a plastic cap, keeping the sections smooth. Use additional heat for normal hair. Development time: 10 to 30 minutes. Once the application is complete, take a test strand from the first application area and check its elasticity. Processing is complete when the hair is twice as elastic as normal.
6. Rinse with lukewarm water for at least 5 minutes and up to 8 minutes (depending on the hair length and amount of hair) until the STRAIT THERAPY Straightening Cream has been completely removed.
7. Apply STRAIT THERAPY Post Balm to the entire head, leave it on for one minute and rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
8. Blow-dry the hair smooth with a paddle brush. Do not pull the hair taut.
9. Heat the straightener to a maximum of 180 °C. Starting at the nape, take horizontal sections 5cm wide x 1cm and straighten them with the straightener without pulling the hair taut. Pass the straightener from the roots to the ends 5 times until each strand is completely smooth. Always use at a 90° angle.
10. Follow the manufacturer's instructions and advise the client not to tie up the hair or use hair clips for 72 hours after straightening.
11. Divide the hair into four equal sections (T-section). Start at the nape and take horizontal sections as before. Apply STRAIT THERAPY Neutralising Milk without pulling the hair taut. Note: Keep the sections smooth. When pinning up the sections, keep the hair smooth and do not pull it taut. Use at least the same amount of STRAIT THERAPY Neutralising Milk as Straightening Cream. Leave on for 10 to 15 minutes.
12. Rinse the STRAIT THERAPY Neutralising Milk thoroughly with lukewarm water. Towel-dry the hair.
13. For maximum shine, apply STRAIT THERAPY Post Balm. Leave on for up to 15 minutes and rinse thoroughly.
14. Blow-dry the hair smooth with a paddle brush. Do not pull or twist the sections. Finish with the straightener for perfect results.
