Many women want a natural and safe form of birth control—a method that doesn’t contain hormones! With the Singa Diaphragm, you can practice safe and self-directed birth control whenever you need it. The diaphragm is inserted into the vagina like a tampon before sex. It completely covers the cervix and sits between the posterior vaginal fornix and the pouch at the pubic bone. During and after sex, the diaphragm prevents sperm from entering the uterus. The Singa Diaphragm works entirely without hormones.
By using non-hormonal birth control, they also avoid many unwanted side effects such as weight gain, headaches, nausea, breast tenderness, depressive moods, nervousness, decreased libido, acne, abdominal pain, an increased risk of thrombosis among smokers, and breakthrough bleeding—to name just the most common ones.

The traditional round Singa diaphragm is made of silicone and a polymer spring ring. It is available in diameters of 60 mm, 65 mm, 70 mm, 75 mm, 80 mm, 85 mm, and 90 mm. The correct size must be determined once by a qualified professional! To do so, contact your gynecologist, a women’s health center, or a Pro Familia counseling center.
