The basis of this unique blend is the distinctive flavor of organically grown rooibos from the Cedar Mountains of South Africa. Enriched with warming spices, this creation becomes the perfect winter drink. The “Cederberg Mountain” region is located approximately 200 km north of Cape Town. The red bush (Afrikaans rooi = red and bos = bush), from which South Africa’s national beverage is made, grows exclusively in this rugged region. Unlike black or green tea, rooibos tea contains no caffeine and few tannins, making it the perfect drink for the evening as well. Warming spices such as honeybush, cinnamon, lemon myrtle, licorice root, and cloves, along with orange peel and natural orange oil, transform cold days into special winter moments.

Preparation

Rooibos should be brewed at a water temperature of 95–98°C (after boiling the water in the kettle, let it stand briefly and wait until it is no longer boiling).
