Organically grown, genuine verbena from Paraguay, the plant’s original homeland; invigorating and refreshing. In France, many women have traditionally enjoyed verbena tea. This tea has antispasmodic and relaxing properties, along with an enchanting lemony fragrance. The tea is becoming increasingly popular here and has become a staple of everyday life for many enthusiasts. The plant belongs to the verbena family (Verbenaceae) and originally comes from Paraguay. The elongated, pointed leaves are dried and then cut. They contain around 0.5 percent essential oil, which has a wonderfully lemon-like scent. Although the shrub is not frost-resistant, it is also cultivated in Europe. However, we chose the premium original variety from organic cultivation in Paraguay, because only this variety produces a distinctive lemon aroma.

Preparation

Herbal teas should be brewed at a water temperature of 95–98°C (after boiling the water in the kettle, let it stand briefly and wait until it is no longer boiling).
