Green clay is a versatile household helper: it’s absorbent, deodorizing, and grease-cutting. When used with a damp sponge, its quartz-free texture makes it ideal for cleaning delicate surfaces such as marble, glass-ceramic, or leather. Cat litter needs to be changed less often, and odors in trash cans are reduced when green clay is sprinkled on the bottom of the containers. It removes moisture and unpleasant odors from closets and shoe cabinets when placed in a cloth bag with a few drops of essential oil.
