A smooth surface is always necessary for a securely sealing adhesive surface. Skin irregularities such as Falten and scars around the stoma, but also a retracted stoma, can be evened out with the Stomahesive™ skin protection paste. This allows the ostomy appliance to be securely attached to the skin and optimally protects the skin from irritation.

The paste is applied either directly around the stoma or around the opening of the skin protection plate.
