Suprasorb P from Lohmann & Rauscher is a three-layer polyurethane foam dressing without an adhesive border. It absorbs wound exudate, directs it vertically into the dressing, and retains it there, protecting the wound edges and maintaining a moist wound environment. The non-adhesive version in the 7.5 x 7.5cm size is particularly suitable for sensitive wound surroundings and is secured using a fixation method.

Application

Place the dressing on the wound with the perforated wound-contact layer facing down and secure with a bandage or fixation fleece. It can be cut to size if necessary and left in place for up to 7 days, depending on the wound condition. Can also be used under compression therapy.
