The sweet, fruity scent of orange oil has a calming, uplifting, and invigorating effect. It has the power to relieve nervousness, stress, and tension. Orange oil creates a warming atmosphere that has a liberating and uplifting effect, even when dealing with feelings of anxiety, grief, or a heavy, foggy mind. It has a balancing effect in every situation and, with its mildly appetite-stimulating properties, restores your zest for life. Orange blends very well with all other scents and creates an atmosphere of joy and good cheer.

Application

Organic orange oil is undoubtedly one of the most popular essential oils and is used in aromatherapy specifically to lift one’s spirits. The fruity, sweet scent of this citrus fruit lifts our spirits when we’re feeling listless or sad—just like this DIY mood-boosting room fragrance: A blend of 3 drops of TAOASIS Organic Orange Oil, 3 drops of grapefruit oil, and 2 drops of lemongrass in an aroma diffuser creates a calming yet invigorating atmosphere.

When applying it externally to the skin, the orange essential oil should always be diluted with a carrier oil—and kept away from the eyes and mucous membranes. For a sensual aromatic massage, for example, you can add 8–10 drops of TAOASIS Organic Orange Oil to 50 ml of almond oil and gently massage it into the skin.
