Vepoprotect wash-in waterproofing treatment is a highly effective concentrate for reproofing outdoor textiles. The innovative formula provides excellent water repellency on synthetic and blended fabrics without compromising breathability. The product was specially developed for safe, simple and odor-free use—without inhaling aerosols. At the same time, treated textiles remain soft to the touch and retain their vibrant colors. One bottle is sufficient for 5 kg of laundry or 5 m² of textiles.

Application

• Machine application Wash textiles according to the care label using a small amount of detergent and no fabric softener. Thoroughly clean the detergent drawer (important: no surfactant residue). Add 100 ml per 1 kg of dry laundry to the fabric softener compartment. Start a delicates cycle at 30 °C. Hang textiles up immediately (outer side facing out).
• Hand washing Dilute 100 ml in 5–10 liters of water. Soak clean textiles for approx. 30 minutes, moving them regularly. Gently wring out and leave to dry.
• Sponge or spray application Dilute with water at a ratio of 1:5 to 1:10. Apply evenly and leave to dry. Ideal for tents, awnings or backpacks.

Note

Additional heat treatment is not necessary, but—provided the care label permits it—may further improve the protective effect (e.g. for down jackets in a tumble dryer).
