From the Rocky Mountains of North America and the Arctic tundra to the mountains and forests of Europe, all the way to the deserts and steppes of Central Asia, wolves hunt their prey. This provides them with meat and nutrient-rich offal, as well as vegetables, fruits, berries, roots, and herbs from the prey’s stomach contents. Grains are not part of this diet. This is how wolves obtain the vitamins, minerals, trace elements, enzymes, and phytochemicals they need. Since the wolf is the ancestor of all dogs, our Wolfsblut wet dog food is modeled after these natural feeding habits of the wolf. It contains plenty of meat or fish combined with superfoods that provide valuable nutrients—just as in nature, completely grain-free. Our selection of exceptional meats and nutrient-rich superfoods is inspired by the wolf’s natural habitats and its diverse diet. Wolfsblut offers every dog a species-appropriate and natural diet, and with its wide variety of flavors, there’s something for every dog that suits their individual needs. The individual ingredients in GREEN VALLEY were formulated in collaboration with veterinarians to align with the wolf’s natural prey pattern and the principles of holistic dog nutrition. Wolfsblut’s wet food is therefore unique and contains many superfoods.
