From the Rocky Mountains of North America and the Arctic tundra to the mountains and forests of Europe and on to the deserts and steppes of Central Asia, wolves hunt their prey. This provides them with meat and nutrient-rich offal, as well as vegetables, fruits, berries, roots, and herbs from the prey’s stomach contents. Grains are not part of this diet. This is how wolves obtain the vitamins, minerals, trace elements, enzymes, and phytochemicals they need. Since the wolf is the ancestor of all dogs, our Wolfsblut dry dog food is modeled after the wolf’s natural eating habits. It contains plenty of meat or fish combined with superfoods rich in valuable nutrients—just as in nature, completely grain-free. Our selection of exceptional meats and nutrient-rich superfoods is based on the wolf’s natural habitats and its diverse diet. Wolfsblut offers every dog a species-appropriate and natural diet, and with its wide variety of flavors, there’s something for every dog that suits their individual needs. The recipe for ALASKA SALMON dry food combines the wolf’s natural diet with the latest scientific findings on proper canine nutrition.

The salmon in ALASKA SALMON comes from fisheries that protect fish stocks by catching only as much as can be replenished. Environmentally friendly methods are used for fishing. Farmed fish are raised with the greatest possible care for the environment.
