Zechstein Magnesium Flakes is a bath additive consisting of pure magnesium chloride hexahydrate. The flakes are obtained from so-called magnesium oil through heating and drying. It is a pure, natural product, free of additives. The magnesium chloride concentration is approximately 47%. 1 g of Magnesium Flakes contains approximately 120 mg of pure magnesium.

Application

• A bath with Zechstein Magnesium Flakes is particularly suitable for relaxation, recovery after physical exertion, and skin care. Even a foot bath with a higher concentration of Magnesium Flakes can quickly and safely remedy a magnesium deficiency.
• The concentration should be at least 5%. For a foot bath with 5 liters of water, you'll need about 500 g of magnesium flakes.

Full bath

Dissolve the entire contents of the packet in the bathwater and fill the tub with just enough water to barely cover your body, in order to achieve the highest possible magnesium concentration in the bathwater. Recommended bath temperature: approx. 37° Celsius; bath duration: 20 to 30 minutes.

Foot Bath

Dissolve 150 to 250 g of Zechstein Magnesium Flakes in 5 liters of water heated to approximately 37° Celsius, and soak your feet in it for 20 to 30 minutes.
