The Raupenleimring is a ready-to-use biological product for targeted control of the frost moth on fruit and ornamental trees. After the first frost, the wingless females of the frost moth migrate along the trunk to oblay their eggs in the crown of the tree. The glue ring consists of natural ha rz and vegetable oils, is applied to special paper and is attached directly to the trunk. The females crawling up the tree remain attached to the sticky layer, effectively interrupting the life cycle and reducing the damage caused by Raups in spring.

Thanks to its natural ingredients, the Raupen glue ring is compostable, quick to apply and easy to replace if necessary. The dark green Farbe reduces the risk of attracting beneficial insects. To provide additional protection for other animals, the glue ring can be covered with a light wire tgeflecht such as rabbit wire without compromising its effectiveness. The Raupen glue ring thus offers an environmentally friendly and preventative solution to reliably protect woody plants from Raupenfrass.

Application:

The Raupenleimring is attached to the trunk at a height of 60-80 cm above the ground before the first frost between the end of September and mid-Oct ober. tgIt is cut to size according to the trunk circumference plus a 3cm overlap, pulled apart, placed around the trunk with the glue layer facing outwards and tied with string oband below the glue layer. Leaf-covered, dirty glue rings should be replaced during the winter. In spring, the Raupen glue rings can be removed.
