The PP synthetic fiber crop protection net is particularly tear-resistant and slightly heavier than the smaller net. It is perfect for covering berry bushes, small fruit trees or vines. It can also be used to cover larger Gembeds. However, a support frame should be used for this, as the net is too heavy without a frame.

Application:

Check the bed for slug infestation immediately after sowing or planting. The seedlings or plants must be pest-free before covering, otherwise treat them beforehand. Water the bed sufficiently. Lay out a net and secure it tightly all around so that there is no possibility of slugs flying in. The net does not need to be removed for watering. In the case of berry bushes, close off as tightly as possible at the bottom after flowering. Stones, earth or metal pegs, for example, are suitable for fastening. For freshly sown beds, the net should be placed over the frame for crop protection nets, otherwise the seedlings will grow into the net. If necessary, only remove the net in the evening or in cloudy weather when no pests are flying. Never leave the beds or plants uncovered for long periods of time.

Cleaning and storage:

Wash the netting in the washing machine on a gentle cycle in cold water, dry and fold up. Alternatively, it can simply be shaken out and dried. Store in a dark and cool place.
