Environmental factors such as cold or heat, insufficient fluid intake, and even therapeutic measures can lead to increased moisture loss in the skin. An unpleasant consequence of this loss is dry, flaky, or cracked skin, which can become itchy and inflamed. The goal of treatment is to restore the skin’s natural moisture balance and thereby improve the patient’s overall well-being.

Cutimed ACUTE is a urea-based cream foam that provides medical skin care and protection for heavily stressed skin. Two different urea concentrations ensure reliable and effective moisturization for various skin conditions. The foam formulation offers benefits not only for patients but also for healthcare professionals. The cream foam is easy to apply, goes a long way, and absorbs quickly without leaving any residue. All products are also free of latex, dyes, and lanolin, and have been dermatologically tested.

Application

Cutimed ACUTE is suitable as a specialized treatment for dry and heavily stressed skin. Cutimed ACUTE is also excellent for use as a medical skin care product during compression therapy. Cutimed ACUTE, with a 10% urea concentration, is suitable for people with diabetes.
