Without a suitable place to hide or sleep, reptiles can easily develop stress, which can affect their well-being and appetite. The Exo Terra corner cave offers reptiles, amphibians or invertebrates a safe place to hide and sleep, while the humid microclimate supports thermoregulation and hydration and promotes the reptiles' natural shedding process. The unique hygroscopic properties of the ceramic material naturally regulate the humidity and temperature in the cave by absorbing moisture from the water reservoir and slowly releasing it. Adequate humidity creates a healthy environment and helps to prevent respiratory infections.

Thanks to its aesthetically pleasing and space-saving design, the Exo Terra corner cave fits perfectly into the corner of the terrarium. The natural look of this environmentally friendly ceramic cave can be easily integrated into any type of terrarium. By simply adding moistened Exo Terra forest moss or peat moss, the cave provides an ideal place for various reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates to lay their eggs. The water reservoir of the corner cave should always be filled with water to ensure rzthat the microclimate maintains the optimum temperature and humidity range for your animals (and their eggs).
