The active ingredient in Silicea MAGEN-DARM DIRECT is finely dispersed (colloidal) silica gel, a compound of the mineral silicon with oxygen and water.

What makes silica gel special is its exceptionally high capacity to bind pathogens and their toxins. Application

For acute symptoms, children and adults should take 2 15-ml single-serve sticks directly 3 to 5 times a day. The stick can also be stirred into water or tea. It should be taken between meals and, if necessary, immediately before bedtime. Once the acute symptoms have subsided, treatment may be continued for a few more days at a dosage of 1 15-ml single-serve stick 3 times daily. For chronic symptoms, adults should take 1 serving stick (15 ml) 3 times daily—either straight or mixed with water or tea—on an empty stomach or between meals.
