This alcohol-free skin protection solution offers reliable, long-lasting protection for sensitive or previously damaged skin - ideal for incontinence, exudate contamination or as wound edge protection. The transparent protective film effectively protects the skin from irritation caused by fluids such as urine, stool or digestive juices as well as from adhesions and mechanical trauma caused by dressing changes. Its high oxygen and water vapor permeability significantly reduces the risk of maceration.

The mild formulation is free from alcohol, fragrances and preservatives, making it particularly skin-friendly. It can be used without hesitation on adults, children and even full-term babies from the first month of life. The barrier also provides reliable wound edge protection under negative pressure therapy (NPWT) - for up to four days.

Application:

1. Preparation of the skin: Clean and dry the affected skin area thoroughly. Make sure that the skin is free of cream, ointment or dirt residues.
2. Application: Apply the skin protection film - e.g. as a spray or swab - evenly and thinly to the skin area to be protected. FaIf necessary, also apply to the edges of the wound or adjacent areas of skin.
3. Drying time: Allow the solution to air dry for approx. 30-60 seconds. A transparent, flexibler film then forms, which has an immediate protective effect.
4. Repeated application: The protective film lasts up to 4 days. In case of frequent washing, heavy exudate or dressing changes, an earlier reapplication may be advisable.
5. Note on combination with dressings: The protective film can be used under adhesive wound dressings or in negative pressure therapy (NPWT) as wound edge protection. It reduces the risk of skin irritation caused by adhesive plasters and protects against skin trauma when the dressings are removed.
