A hemostatic powder for minor and superficial everyday injuries. Sterile, bioactive powder. Especially useful for cuts on the head, irritation and injuries in skin folds, a sore bottom, and also for injuries to a pet’s fur. Stop Hémo is:

• hemostatic: Introducing calcium into the wound helps speed up the clotting process and thus quickly stop the bleeding
• Wound-healing: Calcium helps stimulate the key cells involved in scar formation
• Soothing: Upon contact with the wound, the powder forms a gel to maintain a moist environment around the wound. This helps reduce pain.

Stop Hémo is effective in patients with bleeding disorders that are either congenital or caused by treatments (antiplatelet agents, vitamin K antagonists, heparin). Stop Hémo can be used in children, pregnant women, and adults.

Application

Clean the wound with soap and water or with saline solution (0.9% NaCl), apply Stop Hémo, and let the excess powder fall off on its own.

Notes

Stop Hémo POWDER must not be used with alkaline solutions such as sodium hypochlorite solutions or solutions containing chlorhexidine, benzalkonium chloride, or copper salts. If such products have been applied to the wound, rinse it thoroughly with normal saline (0.9% NaCl) before applying Stop Hémo. Stop Hémo POWDER can be used for 6 months after opening.
