Digital CO2 Meter (1 unit)

Buy a Digital CO2 Meter (1 unit)

Ideal for indoor CO2 monitoring. Runs on AC power or USB. The CO2 monitor displays the CO2 level in ppm using a traffic-light system, as well as the room temperature and humidity. The CO2 monitor uses sensors to measure the CO2 concentration in the air. The traffic light colors indicate the range of the CO2 concentration.

• Green < 1,000 ppm CO2
• Yellow > 1,000 to < 2,000 ppm CO2
• Root > 2000 ppm CO2

Thanks to the traffic-light system, it's easy to tell whether it's time to ventilate a room. The display also encourages people to learn proper ventilation habits.

Recommendation from the FOPH

The FOPH recommends a CO2 level below 1,400 ppm for optimal learning conditions. Levels exceeding 2,000 ppm should be avoided whenever possible. Although people can assess air quality when entering a room, they lose their ability to judge it within a very short time due to olfactory adaptation. For this reason, people who spend a long time in a room no longer notice the deterioration in air quality and therefore see no reason to ventilate. In contrast, we close a window very quickly if the temperature drops sharply or it becomes too noisy outside.
