The Evial Menopause Test measures the concentration of FSH in the urine. This allows you to determine whether the body is producing an excess of FSH. This is a sign that the body is going through menopause or perimenopause.
To perform the test, hold the absorbent tip under the urine stream or dip it into the urine. After a few minutes, you can read the result by looking at the colored lines that appear.

What is menopause?

Menopause is a normal phase in a woman’s life and marks the end of menstruation. It is part of the aging process of the reproductive system. Clinically, menopause is not diagnosed until a woman has gone 12 months without a period. Menopause usually begins between the ages of 45 and 55. Before menopause, there is a transitional phase called perimenopause.
Many women experience a wide variety of symptoms when menopause begins. Therefore, it is helpful to know whether menopause has already begun. Women who are aware of this can take steps to keep their changing bodies healthy. Health risks that develop during this stage of life can be reduced or even prevented.

How does the Evial Menopause Test work?:

To perform the test, urinate onto the absorbent tip or dip the test strip into the collected urine. The result can be read after just a few minutes, based on the lines that appear on the test. It is recommended to use morning urine for the test. Morning urine contains the highest concentration of hormones and is therefore the most reliable.
If you are still menstruating monthly, the first test is performed within the first week of your menstrual cycle (days 2–7, with day 1 being the first day of your period). The second test is then performed one week later. If periods are no longer regular, the first test can be taken at any time of the month, and the second test should be taken the following week.
