Male infertility is the inability to achieve pregnancy after at least one year of regular and unprotected sexual intercourse. It is responsible for almost 50% of infertile couples worldwide. A distinction is made between primary infertility, when the man has never achieved a pregnancy, and secondary infertility, when a pregnancy has already been rzachieved.

The causes usually lie in insufficient sperm production or sperm quality disorders. The sperm count is often used as a screening test for diagnosis. A concentration of less than 15 million sperm per milliliter is considered to be below the minimum quantity required for conception. In such cases, a rztical examination is recommended to clarify the causes and discuss possible measures to improve sperm bessconcentration.

Application:

1. Collect the pr obe directly in the collection container. Shake it and let it rest for 15 minutes.
2. Add one drop of Pr obe to well A using the pipette supplied with tge.
3. Add drops of the staining solution to well A and wait 1-2 minutes.
4. Drip 2 drops of the wash solution into well A and wait 1-2 minutes. Read the result immediately and compare the Farbe obtained with that of well B.
